My previous ESTA also had an incorrect passport issued date .. I can confirm this made no difference either ( I only realised after I travelled on it that it was wrong on the original application !) ... I guess First, Last names as well as Expiry Date, Number and Issuing country are the important fields .. the rest of it probably doesn't matter much
