Had a look at what's on offer for Christmas and I was intending to use a few Avios to stock up on a few decent bottles of Champagne, sadly pretty much all of these are now excluded from the Club discount (only Léon Launois Cuvée Réservée Brut adds the discount) - asking on the live chat they say 'this is required to adhere to pricing legislation in the territories in which we operate' - not sure what that actually means but they couldn't answer how everyone else manages to sell the same things for less if this is indeed due to legislation.
