At SEA where Alaska has multiple lounges, and at least one of them is very large, I'm on the fence whether I think a concert is good or bad. I figure if I had an annoyingly long layover, the option to go to a different lounge would cool most of my irritation produced by a noise level I didn't like.
If it were at PDX as the primary lounge there is currently, it would be an awful waste of scarce space and
me.
Even a mic stand in the corner for a solo performer would be too disruptive at PDX. No need to worry, though - performers are below day passes and AA flyers on the admittance waitlist.
