This is temporary. The software updates have now been rolled out, and it's just a training and compliance piece that needs to be finished off. Some airports have relatively high staff turnover and pressures on training availability, so it's not something that can be done overnight in all airports. I would expect all UK airports to be finished in the next 4 months or so. T4 is the only hold up at LHR now.
