The JFK one will be among the smallest lounges in an NYC area airport. Not quite as small as an Escape Lounge, but down there. Smaller than even the cramped LGA Centurion.
Might be a huge reason why this won't be a Priority Pass lounge.
And they assume this will be fine unless you want to do the 15 minute mile walk to the five or so lounges in the future Terminal 6. I would never expect an Amex, Chase, or C1 lounge to ever sit in T5 proper. The terminal can't even get a proper AirTrain stop right in front of it.
It's much easier to carve out space for a lounge than it is to build a train station.
