Well AI didn't miss anything, it went off my prompt which wouldn't have uncovered the shops because the prompt focused on nature, parks, outdoors, bonsai, onsen, etc. But it did, as pointed out upthread, overly romanticize some spots which may be less desirable in winter, or only desirable, in case of the onsen, with reserving a private bath.
