Strange reservation issue - no flight segments
I've attempted a couple of times this afternoon to reserve ATL > DFW > EWR next week. The ATL > DFW connects through Houston.
The site has walked me through the process both times and allowed me to submit the reservation (I'm not ticketing the flight until tomorrow). However, when I attempt to select seat assignment, the site tells me the seat selector is unavailable. Then, the reservation disappears from the My Account screen.
I received the confirmation email, and when I look up the confirmation number, the site returns a message that says "Your itinerary cannot be retrieved, since there are no flight segments. Only itineraries with flight segments can be added to your Profile."
Now, do I assume it's just a bug on the site, or is there something else going on that the web site hasn't caught up with yet (no flight segments?)?
