Let not get carried away. A friend of mine who works for PHX got a recent look at the terminal said there's really nothing special about it besides the opened up ceiling.
WN's ops are on the southern side which means shorter concourses. This also means that there's very little else besides gate areas. So don't go thinking there's going to be ton's of stuff to do in S2 especially if they cram in 8 gates like S3 & S4.
