I gave United another call and they actually came good, kind of. Whilst they couldn't assign me a specific seat number that I gave them (they could only put in a request as per last time), they could change it to a window seat and have the system automatically assign it which after some further checking is 21A, which is the second row of Y. Not what I'd have chosen but it'll do. Does anybody know if this is a decent seat?
