what are people's proposed solutions for "lack of upgrades"? Should DL sell fewer F tickets so they can give more upgrades? honestly of all the gripes out there this one generates by far the least sympathy from me.

Honestly I feel like they give TOO MANY upgrades, I don't actually care about the raw numbers but I do wish they would NOT upgrade anyone until boarding since it does deplete inventory and I've run into situations where I couldn't SDC because of full F cabins and end up in Y on a paid F ticket while some moocher sits up front on a free upgrade.

Clearly it's impossible to know for sure if the cabin had any window upgrades consuming those seats but it's happened to me enough times that it's statistically a certainty.
