Your old number with EBG prefix will remain on the booking and you will get your points as usual. There's no need to update the number just because the prefix has changed, afaik system will accept any of the prefixes irrespective of what your status actually is.
Thanks, that's good to know. I'm rather new to SK and have been asking many questions here. If the Christmas calendar is as lucrative as some info suggests, I might go for EBD just for the sake of it
