If I don't remember totally wrong, at least before if you arrived from a schengen country and got a remote stand with bus transfer to the terminal you had to go through transfer security even if getting a gate arrival you could proceed right into the transit area if there was someone checking bp:s in the "tube".
however, I got a remote stand the other day arriving from schengen and the bus dropped us at a place where we could just scan our boarding passes and go straight into the transit area and thereby skipping security. Is this new or do i remember all of this somehow wrong?
It is not totally new. I also experienced it. I think it was also mentioned here. I believe sometimes they're having a coordination issue and passengers coming from the EU are ending up in the wrong hall.
