Apologies if not the right forum but there is nowhere more helpful. Trying to hire a car via the Avios Car Hire portal using avios and cash and when it comes to the time to pay it references only my personal avios balance rather than pulling from my household avios balance, and thus states I have insufficient avios for the transaction.

Is this the rule? Can only purchase using personal avios, or is it an error and I should try ringing / a different device?
