I have a 85k AMEX cert expiring soon and want to use it on my upcoming 1.5 day stopover in BKK. Ive stayed at the SGS, JW and Westin before and like both the SGS & JW. I like that I can use the Airport Rail Link/MRT instead of dealing with the traffic.

But, SGS is only 45K while StR is 60K and RC is 74K.

So what would you do? Stick with the SGS or try one of RC or StR? From the comments on this thread, location for RC and StR isn’t as convenient and thats causing some doubt especially on a short stay….
