It looks like we can now go to the gate without a ticket like the pilots do!

No flight? You can still go to the gate at San Diego, other airports

Major SoCal airport allows people past security, no flight needed

And what happens if I want to invite a flight attendant into a lounge? She has no ticket I assume.
