Just back from Indonesia- used 2 persons Biz LAX-HKG-DPS (return on QR on the AS deal from CGK)
Just booked 1 way LAX-HKG-AKL in PE for Feb (return on AA paid to YVR)
Earlier this year LAX-HKG-SYD and return with the LAX in 1st both directions

I find it the best use of AMEX points. But that's me and I have a flexible schedule being retired.
I hope you are wrong and no one else transfers points to Asia Miles so there are more possible seats for me!
