okay, good to know. A couple of years ago I changed YOW-YYZ-FRA to YOW-YUL-FRA with no problem and am not happy to discover this is not really an option in the future. It was a major benefit of flying out of a non-hub - you increase the number of TATL segments you can switch to if you're looking for an empty J cabin.
