IMHO the only acceptable seats on the 789/359 are 1A/K. You get some extra, albeit non enclosed, storage and more importantly, a bigger and longer foot cubby. But agree, asides from those 2, the rest of the seats are pretty horrible.
slightly bigger foot box, true, but these are aisle seats and just next to the noisy galley, so that is a drawback...
