[For our first visit to Japan I was actually on the verge of changing our return to leave from KIX instead of NRT -- but Typhoon Jebi had other plans and the bridge to the airport wound up being closed for several days immediately before and after our departure from Japan; for the second visit my supplier [i]strongly encouraged HND]
Agree that Kansai is pretty impressive as a building (is it still the longest terminal in the world?), although all the glass + the fact that Japan believes in keeping their AC at 25 C / 77 F makes for a less than pleasant experience in the summer months.
