For future redemption on which carriers? If on AA, then yes: since AA now offers dynamic pricing for award travel on AA metal (and apparently on AS metal too), it's easier to find redemptions on AA metal -- but sometimes at eye-watering redemption rates.

For redemptions on BA, IB, and QR, AAdvantage seems to offer less award availability than what you would find from those carriers' own FFPs.

Of course, one big advantage of AAdvantage is no carrier surcharges for awards on any carriers other than BA and IB.
