I have never ever seen TK release more than 3 seats in I class. - so when business would be filled with award passengers - most of them must pay the heavy C-award fees which I really doubt. There might be some upgraders, but the J bucket is also restricted (afaik max 8 seats per flight). Many biz-seats don't stay unsold on longhaul so even last minute upgrades would not be guaranteed.
Do you know if the 3 seats is only for M&S or for all *A?
The fee is less hefty if you redeem using UA and even M&M miles! I did a side by side comparison which makes TK YQ criminally high when you redeem with M&S.
