May have already been asked, but have you ever called platinum concierge to inquire about eligibility? They might transfer you to a Centurion person right then during the call after seeing your spend levels.
And wondered about your post from middle of the year that talked about “restructuring the program” and possibly opening invites in Q4; well, Q4 is almost over : ). So doesn’t look likely as there do not appear to have been any new Centurion cardholders in the US in 2025.
If anyone out there has received a card in 2025, please raise your hand. No need to give details. Would just be interesting to see if anyone at all has gotten an invitation / approved in 2025.
But if $3mm isn’t getting an invite, then I would assume the program is on lock down for some reason.

Whenever I call Amex, I almost always get bounced over to a Centurion rep, and the script is identical every time:
“We’ve noted your interest, there’s a long list, we’ll reach out if/when you qualify.” What makes it more confusing is that a few of my friends overseas have received Centurion invites in the ~$60–100K annual spend range this year. I’ll probably end this year around $3.1–3.2M in spend, and essentially all of it is
personal, not business.As someone said above, there isn’t really a fully logical reason I want this card. A big part of the appeal is that it’s aspirational. I love my JPM Reserve. The hidden tradeline is a huge plus for me. What doesn’t help is how cold the Centurion side feels whenever I interact with them. The responses are very scripted, no real warmth or engagement, just “we’ve noted your interest” and back into the void.
