Thanks WineCountry and jsloan. Doing it this way it appears to be a $560 price difference. I think she will just keep her existing ticket. She thought it would be cool to see Pearl Harbor for the day before flying out but didn’t realize that it would require a reprice of the HNL-EWR segment.

Edit: I just realized, I think one thing that is creating this issue with the large fare difference is she initially booked a coach seat and after it was ticketed she was offered a lower price to upgrade to PP so she took the upgrade after it was initially ticketed in coach.
