Dinner last in Toulouse at Kanteen — we wanted steak for our final night and were unsure of where to go. The hotel suggested L’Entrecote which seemed too touristy and is walk in only. While walking past it in Bordeaux and Toulouse, there were dozens waiting and it certainly didn’t appeal.
The three of us shared the monsieur ribeye (400g) and the steak tartare. Both dishes came with a choice of sides and sauced and we chose green peppercorn and fries. Perfectly cooked medium rare on the steak and it paired nicely with a local red wine.
