Did a one night stay here on a Saturday this past weekend, booked pre-category change on points (30,000) for a twin bed base room. On day of check-in, I see that King w/ Tower View and King Deluxe are available, so I replied back to the welcome email in the afternoon asking for switching to a King bed configuration. No replies, but upon arriving at the hotel at around 7pm they did offer the same options to me, after confirming with me if I am ok with switching to a King bed configuration. I ended up with the Tower View room since I feel even the base room is plenty of space, which it was. Since I arrived at Happy Hour time I was greeted and offered to sit down with some drinks and snacks, and as my room was ready the FD came up with me to walk me to my room, and explained all the amenities inside.

(+) The rooms are very well sized for base room - the circular bath tub and long sofa with two tables are nice
(+) The tower view is great, and I am glad I ended up choosing it
(+) Beds are comfortable, and despite a bit aging I still appreciate non-manual curtains and shades
(+) Minibar is non-alcohol complementary, I appreciate this from Andaz
(+) Nice sets of amenities - happy hour with decent selection of wine/whisky, pool with heated areas, and indoor onsen are all pluses, compared to HTH
(+) Most of the front desk and staff spoke very good English, to the point where I didn't feel like there could be potential language barrier just speaking English rather than using Japanese; they also feel mostly Americanized
(+) Late checkout proactively offered at 4pm and I took it

(=) I only stopped by the rooftop bar since I wasn't feeling like drinking, so maybe the menu was nice but the bar itself felt alright - I felt the view from the restaurant is better?
(=) Breakfast was just so-so in my opinion, but could be skewed because I just had RC Kyoto two days before and Shisui's the day before
(=) Not a big fan of the elevator design where I have to go to 50th floor then go down again on a different elevator for guest rooms, but this is pretty normal for most nice Japan hotels

(-) Location is arguable even worse than HTH, which was already pretty bad imo; there's just nothing around Toranomon Hills itself (at least for what we want to do, mostly pharmacy shopping and electronics), and even though the subway station is a 5 minute walk it's still quite annoying having nothing nearby to do
(-) The room even feels a bit tired now, with marks and scuffs showing its age (again, HTH is super new, so I unconsciously compare it to that)
(-) No more Aesop, except the one in the toilet

This is actually my last Hyatt Tokyo hotel on the checklist (minus the very new Caption, and I've only stayed at the PH pre-renovation), so I was quite looking forward it. I would say my hype was right on the dot - it has its ups and downs, and at 30k points I would've gladly came back, but a lot harder sell at 40,000, especially when even pre-renovation I think I prefer the PH.

For transportation, it doesn't seem like there's any limousine bus for HND (there is for NRT it seems), so on arrival we simply just got to Shimbashi and rolled our carry-on luggage to Andaz, ~20 minute walk. For going to HND, since we have now our huge luggage shipped from our previous hotel, we took a taxi to Shimbashi station and then just took the Asakusa/Keikyu Airport line straight to HND.
