We just had a 2 night stay here and enjoyed it very much. I like a small property. We had room 4 (a suite) on the second floor, one of 10 or so rooms on that floor. There are 6 floors with 67 rooms in total. We booked on points and used a suite upgrade. Our suite had a separate living room and bedroom and a large bathroom with both a tub and a large walk in shower. There was no coffee pot in the room. The hotel will drop coffee off in the morning outside your door at a time of your choosing. We had our own hot water pot so that we could make tea in the room. We had a yummy Christmas cookie in our room but nothing more. Turndown service is offered

The outer door is always locked and can be opened with your room key. You enter into a hallway with a unique design - a bit historic, yet modern design. Check in is in a corner of a comfortable lounge. A small chacuterie plate is put out between 6 and 8, then replaced with fresh cookies. On the other side of the hall is a private lounge that enters into the bar. The breakfast room has a French Provincial flair to it. I enjoyed the menu who had a New Orleans flair to it including freshly made beignets. Up thread someone spoke of a buffet but we did not have one. I always prefer a menu so I was content.

Our breakfast was $150 including service, all of which was taken off our bill.

I will return to this hotel when back in New Orleans.
