If you're going to be traveling weekly in 2026 when would you anticipate crossing the silver threshold? 24? However many flights it takes to do that is what you're considering spending $1600 in order to grab an E+ seat for free at check-in, earn an extra 2 miles per dollar and have a chance at the upgrade lottery (which should not be ascribed a value). Oh and I guess perhaps a slightly higher IRROPS priority.
Unless you want to go on vacation with your $1600 the suggestions in this thread will yield more value for those flights, or just buy E+ or upgrades to get the spend faster.
