Hi all. Search high and low for this and only find conflicting information - even on gatwick’s faq.

flying BA LGW to MCO shortly and would like to bring some wine with me - but prefer to not check a bag.

new security systems at LGW, and rules now state you can bring through 2L in liquids.

However I cannot find clarity on whether types of liquids are restricted or whether restrictions vary by destination. Examples on the website include water, formula, etc.

so, anyone have recent experience bringing through a bottle or two of wine or spirits in their hand baggage at Gatwick for a BA flight to the USA?
