michaelmorio Yes, OLCI gives you BP for IST-VIE (except of there is an issue with travel documents or security). OLCI begins 24 hrs before the flight and ends 90 mins before boarding. Hopefully you are traveling light (cabin bag only). If not, you will have to do one of the following two options: (1) aks the agent in the US when check-in to connect your seperate bookings and check-in the bags all the way to Vienna; or (2) do the immigration (check if you need to get a visa for Turkey), take you bags from the bag delivery belt, exit to airside, go from the arrival hall one floor up to do the check-in of your bags, do the security check, go to gate. It is hardly possible to do (2) in the time you have to spare in IST if you don’t have *G to use the fast track lanes since there can be queues everywhere. Also consider that your arrival time on ticket is touchdown time in IST and after that taxiing can take up to 30 mins until you reach the disembarking gate.
