It's been very little AY flying for me in 2025, and no AY long haul as I usually do (at least twice a year in J). I think I must have earned less than 35'000 Avios this year (max earnings were 3 returns to HYD in Y+ with BA and a few heavily discounted AY to HEL flights) and I expected, at least, to get degraded to AYG.
Checked my account earlier this morning and lo and behold, it's now showing AYP with all the voucher upgrades etc available, all valid until Dec 2026 (runs from Dec - Nov)

What the hell just happened here?
