Due to a 4+ hour delayed departure, did not stop by the flight deck as usual to ask since I figured they’d want to just get the flight going.

Had From the Flight Deck screen pulled up and checked to see if it was on (it was not). When the FA came by as boarding was wrapping up, pointed to the screen and asked if she would ask Captain if he could turn on From the Flight Deck so we could listen to the ATC audio. She said “sure!” and off she went. Listened until after dinner to see if it would be turned it on, but it wasn’t and I eventually gave up and slept until just prior to landing.

As I was walking off the plane, she apparently remembered she forgot to circle back and said “by the way, I asked and he said no.” Told her no problem, thanks for checking though.
