I noticed recently that on the main Flyertalk page, the number of online users listed in the status box has gone up quite dramatically.

Used to be that peak would be around 30,000ish users, but now it is 100,000ish. And off peak would be around 14,000ish but now in the 30,000ish.

Did the algorithm that provides that number change? Or did I just happen to view the lower numbers during some lull and the current numbers are more “normal”
