Avalon420 By definition, early checkout means one checks into the hotel, then decide to depart before the end of the reservation. Of all the major hotel chains I stayed at, I have never seen cancellation fee charged in such case. I can always go to the front desk and tell them that I like to check out the next morning and cancel the rest of the stay.
