I didn’t mind the Courtyard Budapest, especially as it is a cheaper option compared to other hotels in the city. Here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:
  • Upgraded to a Superior Balcony room - the hotel was sold out online so I didn’t expect much more
  • Bed was comfortable for a Courtyard - medium slightly plush mattress, covers weren’t thick but had some weight, pillows were plush
  • Shower pressure was good
  • Spacious room
  • Welcome drink from the bar was good
  • Fitness center has two treadmills
  • Offered late checkout proactively - no issue with requested 3 PM

Cons:
  • No breakfast for free to Elites due to brand issue
  • Shower flooded bathroom floor significantly
