Availability: It Is possible for M&M members with enough points to check availability for business class award tickets. But that doesn't mean that you can get an award ticket with bmi miles if 'I' shows availability. (I think 'I' is M&M stock but no Star stock - but I'm not 100% sure)</font>
When I spoke to
bmi all they could tell me was that no availability for award travel in either First or Business was showing on the dates I required. I will call them back to ask what class they would be booked in. BD use the LH reservation system so I would assume that the booking classes are the same although LH may have a way for restricting available award inventory to BD.
It would be interesting to know if different booking class were used for *A awards and M&M awards.
