December 4, 2025. UA 2058 DEN-EWR, 757-200. Seated in 3F. Went to the flight deck and asked if the pilots would have Channel 9 available. The both eagerly agreed and mentioned that they hadn't had anyone ask for Channel 9 in months. Captain also mentioned that Channel 9 would be available during pre-departure announcements.
