For those that missed it, Gora Kadan has opened a new property, around 15 minutes south of Yamanaka-ko (Lake Yamanaka). I'm not a huge fan of the Mt. Fuji view from the new ryokan's vantage point, at least not compared to Lake Kawaguchi and the nearby Chureito Pagoda.

Gora Kadan Fuji is relatively large, with 42 guest rooms (Fufu Kawaguchiko has 32 rooms), and last month christened the adjacent the Gora Kadan golf course. Some rooms have real onsen, but apparently not all.

At worst, it's most likely a Hoshino resort done right.
