My issue overall is those planes are just old. Put aside the faux-laris seats. The Y seats are old. No IFE makes it painful, and the bathrooms are just bad. I just find it unfortunate that Hawaii is a pricey destination for many, and this is the way we greet travelers going on a nice vacation--here's a ...... plane for ya!

The good news is HNL is one of my least favorite Hawaiian destinations, so LIH, OGG, are generally served by better aircraft. I'll take a MAX plane any day.
