There was a small party last night to celebrate the refit, across the dining venues, including the Peak Lounge and NY Grill.

All of the common areas and F&B outlets look and feel exactly the same, which is good. Much of the staff is the same, but there were also some new faces on team. The journey from the street to reception is exactly the same, down to the bookcases.

They showed a few rooms, and they generally look ok if perhaps a little bland. Edges that used to be angular are now mostly rounded. More gray, less green. New plumbing is nice. Wet areas are the biggest upgrades. Ditto the in-room tech stuff.
