Here is AS' response from the most recent batch of questions:

wrt to the 10/1 changes to upgrade certificates, will there be different distance based tiers (e.g. flights up to X miles) required more than one upgrade certificate?

International flights on HA require 2 certificates.

How will the $100 Visa Signature companion certs earn if you choose to earn based on $? Meaning, will the companion earn 100 points or same number of points as the cardholder?

Each member earns based on their own earn choice. So the individual on the $99 companion ticket would earn $99 x 5 pts if on the revenue earn model, the flown distance if on distance, or 500 points if on the segment option.

Will there be a better “Activities” page that lets us see both redeemable and status points activity? And when?

Yes! This is in active work, and will be released in 2026 (date TBD)

Is there a time when we will receive status points at the same time we earn redeemable points? Currently everything updates when non-air partners reach 3000 points to provide 1000. Perhaps it should just add 20 status points at the same time you earn 60 points on a lyft ride.

Non-air partner earn is changing in 2026 to a model more similar to the cobrand earn, with 1 or 3 status points earned per $1 or 1 base point earned. No more waiting to accumulate 3,000 starting Jan 1. More details here: Get ready for more - 2026 Updates - Atmos™ Rewards in the “More Ways to Elevate your Status” section.

wrt the new earning tracks, if I fly on a ticket in the "lower" fare classes (i.e. N Q O G class), will I get 1 status point per mile flown?

Status point earn will follow your redeemable point earn, based on the earn choice selected. If on the distance option, you’ll earn 1 redeemable point and one status point per mile flown in N, Q, O, G. If on revenue option, you’ll earn 5 points per $1 spent (excl taxes, fees) redeemable and status points, so for example, on a $100 fare before taxes/fees, you’d earn 500 points and 500 status points.

wrt to the new earning tracks, if the mileage-earn track is chosen, how are saver fares handled? will those also be 1 status point per mile flown or a reduced amount (e.g. right now it's 30% EQM, so will it be like 30% status points?)

Saver fares will earn at 30% of whichever earn option is chosen.

If I start out on miles-earn track but find I'm getting more from spend, will changing the plan apply retroactively for the plan year or from that point forward? I'm assuming the latter and hoping the former. Or is it actually that we can only select an earning plan once every 12 months, which means mid-year changes are not allowed?

You can make changes every 365 days, and changes apply going forward but are not retroactive to the start of the plan year.

It seems Atmos will incentivize purchase/plating of premium partner travel away from AAG (given greater EQP earning). This is opposite of the current strategy of giving greater EQP earning by purchasing/plating through AAG. Is that your intention?

We expect the majority of members who book paid premium cabin travel will be better off with and will choose the revenue earn option.
