Never ever pay for any status match! Also I observe that many companies that offer status match, do not grant you the same level - gold, platinum or similar only gets GOLD! , being a platinum and receiving GOLD is not status match- it is downgrading!
As I understand TP charges you for an application, no matter if you are approved or not. This is corrupt behaviour. Of course if you get matched and have to pay 200€, I find it OK, as "your" current requalification would probably be 15-20 times more expensive.
