Nobody is walking to OAK, or even taking the bus. It's car or BART, with no stops nearby. You don't even want to get gas nearby. Which I suppose would affect people who rent cars.
It's the fares and the frequency cuts. Both are quite apparent when you go to book. Whether WN's policy changes (no free bags) are also having an impact I don't know, but it would be less significant than the fares and the schedule.
WN treated OAK demand as inelastic and it's not. For many travelers, SFO is a reasonable alternative.
