I have never considered choosing anything other than the $1000 MQD Boost as a PM since they got rid of MQMs (though as someone with the Platinum DL Amex, could look at it as having $20k worth of spend value, but that is really magical thinking...). To me, it is $1000 I don't have to spend flying Delta, and as a flyer who could potentially reach 20-24k in MQDs each year, I'd rather just spend about $14k on Delta and get PM, then spend the rest of my flying on AA or AS, given where my regular domestic travel takes me - DM is just too out of reach for me as a lowly Platinum flyer, and the RUCs just don't seem like the clear regularly enough...
