Actually - I'm thinking a train maybe better since:
- Immigration at LHR should be fairly easy with e-gates (depending on the OP's passport).
- T2 - St. Pancras via Picadilly should take around an hour
- With the Train arriving at Gard du Nord that would be less stressful than dealing with CDG immigration and ride into central Paris.
So it may actually even out tbh
