Ahh....this brings back memories of my non-rev days.
A flight could show -2/-15 when I called the employee list request line and I wouldn't be worried....somehow I always got on. Really, the numbers can change at a moment's notice for any number of reasons.

I never knew this until last weekend. I couldn't get a seat assignment on one of my flights, which was showing all zeros.
I called in a favor and asked a DL employee to check numbers for me in the system and the flight was actually positive 2/1.
