Posted that article back in #1618, but didn't get much comment.

Some issues I see
- no lounges, including using LH lounges at its main FRA hub, and 3rd party lounges pretty much everywhere else
- no FF program (has paid benefits program), though you can currently earn to Alaskan (and Emirates)
- limited interlines. Might need substantial systems upgrades
- limited, but growing intra -Eurpoe network, which is what oneworld really wants

Still think it would be a decent fit.in time.

They also seem to interline with MH in Asia (including to Australia via BKK and KUL).. and weirdly operate the only 2x/wk flight between BKK and SYX (Sanya, China on Hainan Island)
