I think the kid just wants to fly on the A350, despite living in the country which an airline that has one of the largest A350 fleets (DL). No mention of J.
And as mentioned above, the LH J on the A350 has Allegris which is needlessly complicated but otherwise a decent product. LH is also less prone to last minute substitutions than AF and KLM.
