My best giggle this weekend. I surprised Ms. DENFlyer, who by the way, got hosed on her upgrade but I digress, anyways, I bought a quick throw away ticket down to COS so I could meet her at the gate as she was feeling under the weather, yes I am a great husband and no, I did not take someone else's spot, the flight was plenty open, gawd y'all are a tough crowd, but I know better than leaving that door open. Anyways, each gate I walked past and she was only at like B-24, so I was not walking far, seemed to be predominately east coast flights either majorly delayed or cancelled. I like to slow down and listen to other peoples nightmares over the holidays (yes it brings me holiday joy), from Ma and Pa Kettle who can't understand why ORD is having trouble because the weather looks nice here, to Karen (yeah, we all know her), but my favorites, the people who I actually hear say "DYKWIA". I heard it at least 5 times, Stopped and listened to a couple, because I had time and Elway's, was full. Heard it loud as passengers were yelling at GA's about weather delays and cancellations as if GA's had caused the delays themselves. Best complaint, "so why don't you all just fly us to another airport where it isn't snowing?" Gawd I love airports.

On an aside, I hope all of the United staff is recovering from a pretty brutal weather weekend during a holiday.
