Now, now... to be fair I don't think Ameniti is a bad deal for everyone. If you happen to be fairly well-off and think 50% off published business class fares are not too much to ask for to travel in comfort with your companion, then it's a great deal I think. These deals are even better than those at 1st-air.net which specializes in business class travel.

Now that SQ and bmi have joined UA on this deal, I think it has even more value.

For example, a LAX-SIN business class C class full fare ticket is $4555 roundtrip for weekday travel. Some may say that under Ameniti, $4555 for two to travel in paid business class (which would earn you all the bonus status miles, etc) is not a bad deal at all!
