Also make certain the booking you made is through an authorized booking channel.
Of course always double check with Hyatt conceirge team as well and if it is participating property have them notate the record so there can be no disappointments after checkout
The only authorized booking channel for Mr. and Mrs. Smith properties to be eligible for Hyatt benefits is Hyatt.com.

So if you book through Amex, you will not earn Hyatt EQN or points, or any other benefits.
